
I'm getting way into couponing lately, and this has also affected my meal planning strategies. For instance, this week's meals are created only from sale items and coupon items at Safeway. It took about twice as long to get my meals and shopping list organized this week, but I'm hoping it all pays off at the register.
Monday: Beef round steak, marinated overnight in hubby's creation and slow cooked all day, served with green salad for the adults and frozen mixed veggies for the kidlets.
Tuesday: Sloppy joes served with yam fries
Wednesday: Tortilla soup
Thursday: Leftover tortilla soup
Friday: Pork spareribs and baked apples
Saturday: Salmon fillet served with steamed broccoli
Sunday: baked cheesy ziti served with frozen corn
